You don't need to send her a supporting letter, Filipino nationals are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days, she just needs to take her valid passport. However, if she is under the age of 18 years, you need to send her a supporting letter, otherwise, the Hk immigrant won't let her to enter HK.

Please be aware that entering Hong Kong is very easy as long as you have all the requirements needed.. The only problem and had been our experience is the Philippine side. If you are a filipino inviting your relatives to visit you in Hong Kong.. you must secure an AUTHENTICATED Affidavit of Support from Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong otherwise they will ask her/him any show money, hotel bookings or etc. Much better if you have any Government official backups at Manila airport is such an advantage.. but if NONE?... get ready to have the feelings of wasting your money on this... Take care and God Bless...
