About:China Transit Visa

I'm travelling from Frankfurt to Sydney via Shanghai later his month. What I understand is that I will not need a visa even if I wish to leave Pudong for 10 hours or so.

My question is what I will need to do when I land in Shanghai?

You need to show your passport and the onward flight ticket to pass the customs, then go to Shanghai for a short visit.
