How to get to hotel Howard Johnson Ginwa Plaza from airport. Shuttle bus or taxi?I have 1.5 days there: was planning on spending one day cycling around (is this a good idea, renting a bike and exploring)then on second day, planning on getting driver to collect me early from hotel, go to Terracotta Warriors (maybe calling at hot springs if there is time) and then straight to airport (flight is at 3.45pm) Is this reasonable?

So you'll be in Xian? You may take Xian Airport Shuttle Bus line one to reach the Bell Tower and then take a taxi to Howard Johnson Ginwa Plaza Hotel. The taxi fee should be no more than 20RMB. I think you can cycle on the City Wall, but not the city. Better explore the city by other tools like bus or taxi. Your itinerary is OK.
