This is a prosperous period. It was said that half of the inventions in Chinese history were made in the Song Dynasty. I would like to talk about the Song lyrics (we called Song ci)which is as important as Tang Dynasty's poem in China literature. Another aspects, the first paper currency, jiao zi we called, was discovered in Sichuan province. It was issued in Northern Song Dynasty.
