About:Shanghai Trains

I will be arriving at Pudong airport on Dec 25, then leaving for Nanjing. Is there any way of transportation more practical and convenient, from Airport to either train station or bus station? What is the latest train or bus to Nanjing? My flight will be landing at airport at 4:10 pm.

I am wondering if it would be uneasy to get the ticket on the spot due to holiday season.

You can take the airport bus line 5 to the train station first, and then take a bullet train or G-train to Nanjing. There are many trains available to Nanjing, and the latest one is the train K8434/K8435 departing at 23:52. Personally, you can take the train G7084 departing at 19:08 and reaching Nanjing at 21:05. You could arrange the tickets in advance or purchase them after your arrival. Since there are many trains on the route, tickets are not that hard to purchase.
