Is the shopping good at Guangzhou airport? I have 6 hours to spare there and need Christmas presents for the family! Is it very expensive?

There is free duty shops at Guangzhou airport and goods at these shops may be cheaper. Of course you can find other ordinary shops. Don't know if there are presents in these shops, you may have a try.
