About:Getting to Yichang

Can anybody let us know whether there are direct flights from Xian to Yichang - the web indicates a flight HU 6449 leaves Xian at 0835 and arrives Yichang 0945 on Sundays,Wednesdays and Fridays- however Hainan Airlines states there are no direct flights - it is somewhat confusing

No, there is flight from Xian to Yichang, but operated by Tianjin Airlines, not Hainan Airline. On the other hand, this flight is not in service everyday. You'd better check at the Xian Flights(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/xian.htm).
