About:China Transit Visa

Hi,

I am traveling from Kathmandu to Beijing. I have a China visa. I go from KTM - Lhasa - Chengdu - Beijing all transfering on Air China. Will I need to get a visa??? Or does it just count as a direct transit...thank you

Yes, Ms.Krystalevans, individual travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet right now. You can contact China Travel Service(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/) for a tour, and they will arrange the Permit and a perfect tour itinerary for your trip to China.

You need to get a Tibet Entry Permit before entry from Tibet Tourist Bureau. In that case, you'd better conatct a travel agency from China for that permit.

I am not leaving the airports....I'm literally on connecting flights. The goal is to fly Kathmandu to Beijing - I only have time to change planes in the airports
