About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi,

I am an Indian national and wish to visit Hongkong on a personal/leisure visit. Can I avail On-arrival visa for 14 days after reaching Hongkong? What is the procedure or pre-requisite for getting the same?

Thanks

You do not need visa to HK for 14 days. If you want to stay longer, you can either apply for a HK visa in advance through Chinese embassy in India in advance or apply derectly from HK Immigration Department when you are in HK (before the final date).

Thanks Kyle,

One more question. What is the pre-requisite for getting on-arrival visa?
1. Will I be needing a confirmed return ticket of within 14 days (in case I want to avail my on-arrival visa)?
OR
2. Can I can get my return ticket after my arrival at HongKong(depending whether my visa gets extended or not)?

You need to have a return flight ticket to get a visa on arrival, your valid passport, the return flight ticket and sufficient funds for your stay in Hong Kong are the requirements for you to 14 days Hong Kong visa on arrival.
