About:Chinese Embassy in Iran

I'm Iranian with IRAN passport. Also I'm Permanent resident of Australia. I want to go Hong Kong from IRAN for an official meeting. I have invitation letter from Ministry of Communication of Hong Kong. Do I have to apply for a business visa? or to be permanant Resident of Australia is sufficient to entry to Hong Kong.

Yes, you need to apply for a business visa with this invitation letter from HK, through Chinese embassy in Australia(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/australia.htm) or consulate where you reside. Permanent resident of Australia is not sufficient to enter HK.
