About:Ming Dynasty

Why was the first part of all the emporers' names Ming? Why Zhu as well? Ming is the dynasty-is Ming a relation to that?

That's right Ms Narnie. Ming is just means the name of that dynasty. The names with Ming refers to the emperors posthumous name or title names (also literaly temple name) usually called by later generations. Their real names are Zhu --. Zhu is the family name. In ancient times, a person will have many names, especial literators.
