About:China Eastern Airlines

My friend in Shanghai helped me book tickets from Beijing to Xian. She says e-ticket is not necessary, just show my passport at the counter, is that correct? How do I check whether I am booked?

Yeah, E-ticket is not a must when you are boarding. Generally, passengers only need to show their passports at the Business Service Counter at the airport for check in. But if they could not find your booking record under your name, the e-ticket will be required then. For your seat confirmation, you could contact the airlines directly or log into the airlines’ official website.
