Why don't you apply for China Student Visa in India? You study in India, therefore, you should have valid Indian visa or valid Residence Permit in India. Some Chinese embassies or consulates refuse to issue China Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm) to non-resident applicants. It is not a good way to apply for Chian Student Visa in Thailand.
