About:Changchun Transportation

Hi ... i'm going there next month and wondering what it will be like for xmas. Do you celebrate New Year as well or only Chinese NY?
Could you please also tell me if i will be able to use my iPhone to connect to internet there? if so, what should i do?

Xmas is also celebrated in China nowadays in some place and among some people, especially the young people. In some shops, you can find Xmas trees and presents. We celebrate the New Year as well as Chinese New Year, but Chinese New Year is the most important festival.
You can use your iphone to connect to internet there, but it may be expensive. I think you have no need to do that since most big hotels in Changsha provide net services. I used to travel there and stay in the hotels in Changsha.

Hi Sara, thanks for your reply.
However, i'm not going to stay in a hotel, more like a friend's apartment and there is no internet there. Since i will be there for 3 weeks, i need to find internet service at some points. Could you please tell me is there any alternative like wireless, air-card, or such?

I'm here in changsha, and I'm glad to hear that you are coming next month, over here has the largest amount of bars and they do celebrate X'mas, and you could certainly use wifi or mobile connections here to surf the internet with your iphone

most welcome to changsha , u can use internet wifi almost all supermarkets hotles bars , just in ur iphone network setting vpn type cmnet not that expensive
