I'm afraid that the Hotels in Hong Kong with a convenient transportation and pleasant environment is generally expensice. The Anne Black-YWCA, Hong Kong is comparative cheaper but nice. You may have a try there.
Talk about sightseeing, you should not miss HK Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360, Ocean Park, Victoria Peak, Stantley Market, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, etc. Places like Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, Central, Wan Chai, Mongkok, and citygates are very nice.

Since you have nine days in Hong Kong, I suggest you do a side tip to Macau, Shenzhen, Guangzhou or other cities near HK.
