About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

I wish to apply for a Visa to visit China. I have been issued with a Letter of Invitation from Beijing on 22 November 2010. I have a scanned electronic copy of the Letter of Invitation. Is the scanned electronic copy of the Letter of Invitation acceptable when applying for the Visa, or must I have the original in my possession?

You must have the original invitation letter for visa application, the scanned electronic copy of invitation letter is not accepted.
