About:Shopping in Guangzhou

I am planning to visit Guangzhou 24 Feb 2011 till 2 Mar 2011, aiming at visiting and sourcing my business products at wholesale centre. I just wonder whether the operation of wholesale market has backed to normal since it is expected that there will be a chinese new year break. When the wholesale centre is expected to be backed to normal?

During the Chinese new year, the stands in the market might be cloesed for several days but they will soon be opened again. When you come the markets will already backed to normal.

what dates do the markets close for new year? are they factories also closed?

Usually, the wholesale markets in Guangzhou will be closed one week before Chinese New Year, about at the last week of Jan, 2011.
