Hi! i plan to travel to Beijing - shanghai in 25dec. pals advise me on the cost of soft sleeper /normal seat on high speed train. Is child fare (under 12) same as adult fare? I just can’t see it in the website coz it makes me confuse. Thanks.

The children between 1.1meters and 1.4meters tall could enjoy half-price tickets, and one adult passenger could carry one child under 1.1meters for free. From Beijing to Shanghai, several D trains are available. It cost around CNY730 for one lower soft sleeper and CNT327 for one hard seat on the D trains. For tickets booking, you can arrange it online.
