About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

confirm as of yesterday. no visa will be issued to foreigners on tourist visas at hanoi embassy.
foreign residents have impossible tasks ahead if you attempt it.

Hmmm, they require copy of residence permit or work visa in Vietnam for visa application now. I know they only required copy of valid Vietnam visa last year. Anyway, China visa policy is getting tight this year, due to Asian games perhaps.
