About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Once we enter China on the "L" visitors visa, were gonna head to Tibet via train or flight with a tour. Do we need an exiting ticket out of China? Are we able to arrive at the boarder of Tibet via train then join a tour group?

Mrs.Cassie, beside the L visa to China, you need to further apply for a Tibet Entry Permit. Individual travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet, so you need to contact a tour agency first and join a tour, the travel agency will handle this permit for you.
