i am arriving at guangzhou beiyun airport on a 11pm flight.

Question

I am arriving at Guangzhou Beiyun airport on a 11pm flight. After custom it will be like 1 am.     My bus or train won't be until next morning at the train station.   I am thinking about spending the time at the airport lounge (if its open ?? ) or the train station ? Any suggestion ?  I was thinking about checking in a piece of luggage at the airport or any hotel (i might not be a guest).  Is that possible ?

You can spend time at the airport lougne or the train station, but it is not advisable. It is not comfortable and will be cold. I advise you to take the airport express bus line 1 to CAAC Ticket Office (near to Guangzhou Railway Station). There are many cheap hotels, you can stay one night there and walk to the train station next morning. You can check-in your luggage at the airport or any hotel. It was charged by time and size.
