what part of the great wall would you recommend going to?

hello, my wife and i are planning a trip to china and the great wall.  we will be flying from australia. we would like to see the wall but also some other great highlights of china, what part would you recommend going to?  we would like to take a train out of china after seeing the wall etc, going west down to india, is beijing the place to start from?

Terra Cotta Warriors？Then, perhaps Chengdu, Yunnan or Tibet.  Then fly to India. Tibet tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/tibet/) are nice choices if you do not come to China in winter. Yunnan is in fact nice destination for all year round, including Guilin, but I think spring is the best time. If you travel alone, you may refer to those group china tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/group/) and work out your own plan. Or the most convenient way, to join in a tour.
