About:Lucky Numbers in China

I just read a book that stated an unlucky number for china is 8 . Is it true there is no 8th floor in China. For example we have for 13 floor.

I think it is not 8th, because 8 is an lucky number which meaning making fortune in Chinese. I guess it is 18th. You can check it out again in that book. It is just a saying and most buildings have that floor indeed.
