It would be extremely cold there, expecially for you people from hot countries. You should dress you up as warm as possible! Although the Ice and Snow Festival is not yet opened, you can see ice carvings elsewhere in the city. Wellington Boots? It can resist the ice and snow but not the coldness, buy yourself a pair of winter boots, better someone with fur inside. If it is hard to find the boots in your place, you can bring a warm one and buy yourself a pair of winter boots once arriving at Harbin.

Enjoy your time!
