About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

My daughter is studying abroad in Macau China in February 2011. We are flying into Hong Kong then a ferry to Macau. We both have passports. I am traveling with her to get her settled from 2/2 - 2/11 (9 days). Her study program is taking care of her student VISA BUT will I need to obtain a VISA prior to travel? Macua does not require that I have one due to length of stay BUT flying into Hong Kong will it be required? ALSO, I would like to visit Hong Kong during my 9 day stay.

Can you tell me your nationality? Now, I don't know which passport you hold, so I don't know whether you are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong/macau or not.

You don't need a visa to Hong Kong or Macau, please take your valid US passport and return flight ticket, just show them to the immigration officer.
