Your passport doesn't need have 6 months remaining validity for 10 days visit to China. The passport with at least 6 months validity is required for China visa application, but you don't need to apply for China visa for 10 days visit in China. If your passport has 1 month validity beyond your stay in China, you will be allowed to pass the customs.
