About:Victoria Peak

I am travelling with my family (4 of us, all adults) on 23-26th of january 2010 and will be staying at usa hostel. At 62 nathan road. This is our first to travel abroad as a family. Can you advice me on the must see places to go to maximize our stay, what clothing we should bring and mtr to take to our destinations. Thank you

Here are some travel plans about Hong Kong tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/hongkong/) introducing about food, market, island and other places with suggested place to experience this. It is suggestive to your travel plan. Language will not be a problem there, so you will have fun there by your own. As to instruction to transportation, HK MTR site provide detailed information. Your hotel is well located, close to the metro station of TST. There are many shopping places within walking distance. You wan also walk to Avenue of Stars, HK Space Museum and Museum of History as well as the Cultural Center. Easy to go to the Peak: go to central first and then walk to the peak tram in garden road for about 20 minutes. If you have elder people with you, you can take mtr to Admiralty first and then take bus 15 from admiralty bus terminal to the top of Peak directly. If you are interested to see the temple street and jade market in Yau Ma Tei, just go by MTR. Then walk a couple of minutes from the MTR station to the destination.
