About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Dear sir

I am a resident of Sri Lanka and would like to go and visit a friend in Hong Kong. From there I would like to visit Shanghai on my own just for four days.What should I do?

You need apply for Hong Kong visit visa and China visa, however, the China embassy in Sri Lanka doesn't accept individual tourist visa application to China, you have to join a tour and obtain a group tourist visa to Shanghai, China.
