thank you for the speedy respond. Can i get the visa on arrival at macau airport? how long does it take for immigration to issue the visa?

No, you can't get China visa when you arrive at Macau Airport,you can apply for China Visa at your country, in some local travel agencies in Macau and in Hong Kong.
