can somebody tell me the best way to get to Hengyang via Hongkong or gaungzhou..

Hengyang in Hunan Province? I think you should get to Guangzhou first. Then Guangzhou Nrorth or South Railway Station has high speed trains (G trains) to Hengyang Directly. Less than 2 hours from Guangzhou to Hengyang. This is the most convenient and fastest way.
