I have a friend in China who wants to hire me  for a job (direct hiring). Do I need to apply the work visa (Z) here in the Philippines or simply get a tourist/business visa first then go to China to apply work (Z) visa there? By the way, I have gone for some business and employment in China for about 9 years. I just thought they might have new policies in acquiring visasNeed your advice. Thank you

You need to apply for work visa in the Philippines. Please read the requirements for China work visa application, then you will know what documents are required, your friend needs to get the Alien Work Permit and Visa Notification Form for you, otherwise, it is impossible for you to get a work visa.
