About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi, I am planning to take Trans siberian railway starting from Moscow and end in Bejing-China, via mongolia. Whether I have to apply for Chinese Visa up front or I can get the visa on arrival.

You need to apply for a China visa in advance of your trip, you can't get a visa on arrival.
