Dear Mr. Masood, Assalam-o-Alaekum,                                       Sir my husband  is styding in Wuhan University, Hubei China on chineese scholarship. If i want to visit him on L-visa from pakistan , how long can i stay there? I asked from chinees embassy in pakistan and they told me that they can give me L-visa for about 6 months, then after 6 months I would have to extend my visa every month  in china. I want to ask that is it possible for a pakistani to renew L-visa in china ? is there any Pakistani embassy in hubei or near wuhan? what are the requirements and fees?? I'm confused by your question, the Chinese embassy in Pakistan has told you that you can get a L visa with 6 months stay duration and have to renew your visa in China every month after the 6 months, why do you still ask it is possible for a Pakistani to renew L visa in China? It's true that you can renew your L visa at Wuhan Exit & Enter Department. There is no Pakistani embassy in Hubei or near Wuhan.

Thanx for the reply Ms Miles.Actually i want to confirm the information about L-visa. are u sure that my L-visa would be extended at Wuhan exit and Enter, Wuhan airport?Please guide me , otherwise it would be quite diificult to travel to Pakistani Embassy in Biejing for the extension of L-visa every month.Regards.

I never heard of it before to extend visa every months, generally, the L visa can only be extended twice at local PSB or Exit & Enter.

Ms.Miles , i have read ur profile, since u hav taught in China for 3 years, so according to ur experience what would be the best possible way for me to go to China for a certain longer period(at least for a year), while my hubby is studying there, except for L-visa??In which university do u taught English?

Public Security Bureau, Sobia, if you want to stay longer in China, then try to apply for a one year multiple entry visa next time. Anyway, applicants may not get the visa as they wishes. Good luck!

Ms. Sobia, you can get Visa from Pakistan, then your visa wil be extedned at Wuhan visa office after every three months, without any feeNo worries, its so easy, My family also lived here for more than one year.

Chineese embassy charge no fees on 6 months L- visa, but after staying 6 months there, what would be the visa extension fees or any other charges by visa office? also tell me what type of visa should i apply for; single entry or multiple entry?
