i am hakka & plan to visit huizhou with my siblings in march 2011.

Question

I am Hakka & plan to visit Huizhou with my siblings in March 2011. We plan to visit Macau/Zhuhai then proceed to Huizhou for a day or 2.  There are 10 of us, can anyone advise what is the most convenient transport to take beside joining a packaged tour.  We would like to travel free & easy.  Another question is how to go from Huizhou to Guangzhou.Thanks a lot.

There are buses from Gongbei Bus Station to Huizhou at 8:35, 9:35 ,10:35 ,12:05 ,13:00 ,15:00, 16:30 , you can take this bus to Huizhou after finishing your trip in Macau and Zhuhai.From Huizhou to GUangzhou, there are buses at Huizhou General Bus Station, from 06:15 to 21:00, every 15 minutes. The bus station is at 11, Elingbei Lu, Huicheng District, Huizhou(惠州市惠城区鹅岭北路11号 ).

Hi,I would suggest you to rent a car (with driver) to drive from Macau to Huizhou. It will be a trip of 3-4 hours. Ask in advance the hotel to arrange the car rental. From Huizhou to Guangzhou, there is regular train services.  Or you can hire a car (with driver) as well.  Car rental in China is quite popular.  Cheers,
