You need to apply for China visa in Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Kuala Lumpur or China Consulate in Kuching. The China embassy in Kuala Lumpur doesn't accept China visa application from ordinary passport holders, if you hold diplomatic/service/official passport, you can go to the embassy directly for visa application.

If your itinarary is KL-Guangzhou-KL, a single entry tourist visa is sufficient, if your itinarary is KL-Guangzhou-HK/Macau-Guangzhou-KL, you need a double entry visa, the fee is 30 Ringgit for single-entry visa, however, if have to pay for extra service fee if you apply for visa through Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Kuala Lumpur
