About:Yabuli International Ski Resort

Hi
I am planning a trip with a group of friends and we were told by an agency in beijing that by mid Mar 11, there would be no snow and the conditions would be unsuitable for skiing/snowboarding. They recommend us to go to wanlong instead.
Is that the case that yabuli closes in mar?
We are mostly beginners on our first ski trip.

Thanks a mil in advance!

Yabuli is operated from December 1 to April 1. And I think it's more famous and better than Wanglong, either the one in Beijing or in Zhangjiakou.

Wanlong in Beijing is mainly man-made snow. By March, it'll be quite icy. For a beginner, it'll probably not not a good idea as it'll be quite painful when you fall.

Just my 2 cents worth.
