About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

My family and I are going to HK for leisure. Our passports will expire on Apr 2011. We are scheduled to fly to Hong Kong on Dec 2 to 5, 2010. Do the 6 month rule apply in our case?

This rule is not applied in your case because you don't need a visa to Hong Kong, you can get a visa on arrival with 14 days stay duration at Hong Kong immigration, the passport with at least 6 months validity is required for visa application.
