About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hi,
I have a Z residence permit visa. I want to change to a family visa as my wife is Chinese. Can I do this at the PSB Beijing without leaving China? What is the process?
Thank you!

If you change the Z residence permit visa into family visa, you can't work in China, you can change it at the Beijing Exit & Enter Department under Public Security Bureau. Just bring your passport, one passport photo, the copy of Z residence permit visa on your passport, marriage license, your wife's Chinese passport, household registration and Chinese national ID card to the Beijing Exit & Enter Department under Public Security Bureau.
