About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Sir/Ma'am:
I was in China way back 2004, and I want to visit a friend of mine this week. Is there a need for me to show a bank account for my visa application??? Please reply ASAP for I need the info right away. Thanks!!!

You don't need to provide the bank account if the previous China visa sticker is on your passport.
