HiI am currently in Ukraine and plan to fly to Beijing on a round world trip. I am an Irish citizen with an Irish passport. Can I apply for a visa at the Chinese Consulate in Odessa?Thanks

You can have a try to apply for China tourist visa at the Chinese consulate in Odessa, please explain that you can't apply for China visa in Ireland because it will expire when you go to China, then maybe the visa officer will issue you a tourist visa.
