About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi,
I have a single entry visa which says I need to 'enter before' 8 Jan 2011 and have 30 days. Due to postponing my original trip I am now planning to arrive on 6th Jan 2011 and stay 10 days. Will this be ok? I assume enter before JUST means enter before that date rather than leaving but sometimes these things get lost in translation.
Thanks

It is ok for you to arrive in China on 6th Jan 2011 and stay for 10 days, Enter Before means you have to enter China before 8st August, 2010 rather than leaving.
