About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,
I'm a french girl, living in China, I've been living here for 5 years. I have now a Chinese tourist visa (since september) and I have to go out of China to apply for a working Z visa with all the regular official papers.
I was wondering if by chance it was possible to apply for this visa in Vietnam as I don't really want to go to HK to do it?

Please read the information on the Visa Notification Letter obtained by your employer from Chinese authorized government office, the visa notification letter will tell you where you should apply for China work visa, I'm afraid that you have to return to France to apply for work visa, the China visa policy for French nationals has become strict since May 21, 2010.
