About:China Customs Declaration

I am traveling to china, I will be taking my laptop with me. My friend wants me to begin a desktop computer for him. Do I need to declare this as a gift? Can I even carry more than one computer with him without gettin in trouble? Please advice

If you unpack the new one and tell the custom that one is yours and one is the company's. That will be fine, my experience. If you want to bring in a brand new with intact packing, declare and also means you have to pay for the tax.
