About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Hello,

I'm in the process of getting a Z visa to relocate to Suzhou, how should I fill the visa application forms for myself and my family? should I state the purpose as Employment? should I state it as Other and write "Z Visa" in the blank spot next to it?
Do I need to apply for a single 3 month period visa?

I'm confused, it's like the form was not meant for a Z visa...

On your visa application form, you can choose Employment as your purpose of coming to China, on your family's visa application form, they can choose Other and specify the purpose (to accompany you)

Thank you for the quick response, and what do I write as the duration of the Visa? if I understand correctly, the Z visa is limited to 30 days regardless of what I ask for, so should I just ask for a single entry 3 month Visa?

You can write the real planned stay duration in China on the visa application form, it's true that Z visa is limited to 30 days stay duration after entry. Z-Visa is valid for 3 months for a single entry with no specified duration of stay. You are obliged to apply for residence permit at the local public security bureau within a month after entering China.
