About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I am planning to go to China as a tourist because my friends are inviting me to visit them. I understand that I must have a bank certificate as one of the requirements. Is there certain amount to have in my bank account so they will give a tourist visa? and how much? Hope for your response. Thank you so much.
