About:China Customs Declaration

I am wanting to take in currency of 25500rmb cash which is over limit and needs to be declard; that is not a problem about declaring it; but will they take money off me that is over?

No restriction on foreign cash. As to RMB, I think that is okay to bring them in. It is said that the extra money over 20000 should be sealed in the custom and you can get back when you exit but the fact is no one counting how much cash you bring. Out some in your wallet and put others in your carry on bag. That will be fine.
