Hi, I am traveling to Beijing, Xian & Shanghi on August 9th of the coming year -- How is the weather, what kind of clothing do you recommend & will rain be a problem. Also cruising the Yangtze River for 3 days... Thanks, Rita

Bring summer clothes, for the weather is still hot at that time. Rain is not a big problem at those places. If there is a rain, it will not last long.
