About:Food Culture

What is the typical breakfast in China. Do they use a lot of rice? White, wild, brown, basimati??? What is the favorite noodles. Rice threads? or?? Also, does Chinese cooking means a lot of chopping of veggies?

Breakfast is different in different place, Mrs Friend. Most families have congee, poridge or soy bean milk with some staple food made by wheat flour. So, various snacks in diferent place for breakfast. Yes, we eat many other kind of rice, black, brown, etc. White rice is the most common food. Rice thread is mainly in South China. In the north, we eat noodle made by wheat flour. Yes, a lot of chopping of vegetables (veggies?). Most vegetable need to be chopped if it is not in hot pot.
