I'm a Nigerian And i am Going to Lagos Via Bangkok do i need a transit Visa Even i am only going to stay in the airport waiting for my another flight that i'm connecting to Lagos?

Because i just Lost about $350 to the local flight in manila due to they refused to allow me to board despite they sold me non refundable ticket from manila to bangkok claiming they do not have a transit visa facility
