About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am finishing my year of study in Japan and next month is going back to Tajikistan via China. There is a flight going from Tokyo to Dalian, from Dalian to Beijing and from Beijing to Almaty (Kazakhstan). In Dalian I will stay 3 hours and in Beijing - 4 hours. Will I need transit visa in this case or not?

Thanks,

Farrukh

As the rule, you do not need a transit visa if you transit in Dalian and Beijing within 24 hours, but you need to apply for a stay permit from the border checkpost during your first stopover in Dalian.
